From executive reviews to element-level verification: how teams use SiteInsights 4.0 to make better decisions.

Most construction projects do not suffer from a lack of data. They suffer from data that does not reach the right person in time. The answer is not more data. It is united data: information that is structured, connected, and accessible to the people who need it when they need it.

SiteInsights 4.0 is Cupix’s answer to that gap. By connecting 360 reality capture, BIM models, and schedule data into a single dashboard, it is built to serve the people on a project in a variety of ways, catered to what they need to know.

Here is how five key project stakeholders use SiteInsights 4.0 to drive progress.

1. Owners and Project Executives

Answers to the hardest questions

The Real World Scenario

A capital programs director has 20 minutes to review four active projects before a board update. For each project, she needs to know: is it on track, where is the risk, and when does it actually finish? Historically this meant chasing project managers for status emails, or interpreting a scheduler’s S-curve without context.

The  SiteInsights 4.0 Solution

The Overview screen answers all three questions without any filter setup.

  • The completion summary surfaces the most delayed trades first, with no scrolling required.
  • The forecast panel shows an AI-calculated S-curve based on actual capture data, not a scheduler’s manual estimate.
  • Three KPI cards give her the current productivity rate, weeks to completion, and any delay in days.

If one project shows the electrical trade at 40% below the rate needed to hit the deadline, that number immediately flags it as a risk signal. For an owner who needs real project visibility without becoming a platform expert, SiteInsights 4.0 replaces the 20-minute status chase with a two-minute reality check.

2. Project Managers

From a red flag to a root cause in three clicks

The Real-World Scenario

On Monday morning, a project manager sees that the mechanical trade is flagged as Delayed on Level 4. He needs to understand why before the 9 a.m. standup. In most dashboards, that means opening multiple tabs, losing filters, and starting over. By the time he has the full picture, the meeting has already started.

The SiteInsights 4.0 Solution

The project manager can find his answers all in one screen:

  • Click 1: He clicks the delayed row in the Overview. The Progress Detail panel opens as an overlay on the same screen showing the exact work areas behind, the number of days delayed, and the productivity rate needed to recover.
  • Click 2: He clicks Open Drawing View on the most troubled work area. The floor plan loads with BIM elements color-coded by status: green for complete, red for overdue, orange for delayed start.
  • Click 3: He clicks a 360 capture point on the drawing. The TwinLens Viewer opens on the side and he can see exactly what is installed, compare it to the model, and confirm whether the delay is a physical one or a data entry lag.

The global filter he set at the top of the Overview persists across every view for the entire session. He does not re-enter location or trade data at any point.

For a project manager whose day is already full, SiteInsights 4.0 compresses the gap between “something is wrong” and “I know exactly what to do about it.” under 3 minutes.

3. Schedulers and Project Controls

Pinpoint which location-trade combinations are at risk

The Real-World Scenario

A scheduler is preparing a two-week look-ahead for a 12-floor mixed-use building. She needs to know which Level-Trade combinations are behind, whether it is isolated to one floor or spreading, and what the recovery rate looks like. Pulling this from a static schedule export takes the majority of her morning.

The SiteInsights 4.0 Solution

Instead of forcing her to comb through dense rows of text, SiteInsights 4.0 visualizes schedule risks dynamically:

  • Table View: This view displays every Level and Work Area against every Trade in a matrix. Each cell shows a completion percentage, and enabling Highlight Delayed Tasks flags any cell with delayed work in red. She can see in seconds which specific Level-Trade intersections are behind, not just a trade-wide average.
  • Gantt View: The seven-level task hierarchy (Level, Section, Trade, Category, Subcategory, Work Phase, Activity) lets her restructure the tree by Location, Trade, or Vendor. Any activity at 0% past its start date surfaces with a red indicator.
  • Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) Integration: The same visibility extends to the scheduling tools she already uses. SiteInsights 4.0 integrates with Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) and automatically updates activity progress based on site capture data. Instead of relying on manual updates from the field, project teams can compare planned progress against what's actually happening on site. The result is a more accurate look-ahead schedule grounded in real-world conditions

For a scheduler managing hundreds of activities across a complex building, SiteInsights 4.0 replaces the manual cross-reference with a direct, visual answer.

4. Field Teams and Superintendents

Walk the floor with the data already in hand

The Real-World Scenario

A superintendent is doing a morning walkthrough on Level 6. He knows the framing crew was behind last week, but he does not know which specific work areas were completed since the last capture. He walks zones in the wrong order and wastes time on areas that were already captured.

The SiteInsights 4.0 Solution

Before stepping foot on the deck, the superintendent uses the mobile dashboard to optimize his time on site:

  • Drawing View: The Level 6 floor plan displays every BIM element color-coded by real-time construction status. Green means verified completely, orange means a delayed start, and red means overdue. He can see at a glance which zones need attention before he takes a single step.
  • TwinLens Viewer: When he arrives at a flagged area, he can tap a 360-degree capture point to pull up actual site imagery. This locks the 2D floor plan and the latest 360 panorama on screen at the same time, allowing him to compare the floor plan and the latest capture.
  • Targeted Walkthroughs: By combining live visual status with location mapping, the superintendent  instantly sees exactly which zones need his attention before taking a single step, eliminating aimless floor walking and keeping the field teams focused on the right bottlenecks.

For a superintendent whose effectiveness depends on knowing where to go and what to look for, SiteInsights 4.0 turns the floor plan into an interactive field guide.

5. BIM and VDC Engineers

Verify design intent against site reality at the element level

The Real-World Scenario

A BIM engineer is asked to confirm whether the HVAC ducting on Level 3 matches the model. The status report from the field shows the zone as “In Progress,” but that tells her nothing about which specific elements have been installed and which are missing. She cannot reconcile the model without element-level data.

The SiteInsights 4.0 Solution

The platform strips the guesswork out of model coordination by introducing high-granularity tracking tools directly on top of reality data:

  • BIM Compare: This dedicated panel inside the Drawing View itemizes every single model element in a work area with hyper-specific statuses (Complete, Active, Delayed, Not Tracked, No Capture, or Out of Range). The BIM Compare overlay renders the as-planned BIM geometry as green wireframes directly on the 360 panorama, so she can see where the model and the field diverge in a single view.
  • History View: Before drawing conclusions about missing work, the BIM engineer can consult this view to confirm that the automated tracking pipeline has fully processed the latest field data. If a zone shows unexpected gaps, she can instantly check whether the processing pipeline completed before escalating a false alarm.
  • Exportable Deliverables: Once a discrepancy or status is confirmed, the BIM engineer can instantly export a BIM Status Drawing as a PDF directly from the same screen, making it seamless to share visual proof with the wider coordination team.

For a BIM or VDC engineer whose credibility depends on model accuracy, SiteInsights 4.0 closes the loop between design intent and what is actually on site.

One Platform, Five Different Ways to Drive Progress

SiteInsights 4.0 is not a single dashboard for a single user type. It is a connected system that meets each person where their work actually happens: in an executive review, on a morning walkthrough, in a model coordination session, or at a weekly schedule update.

Across every use case,  the underlying logic is the same. SiteInsights 4.0 detects which areas and elements are behind schedule, misaligned with design intent, or at risk before the window to act closes. It aligns what the model shows with what the 360 capture confirms on site. And it protects every team with a timestamped spatial record that traces every status, every element, and every decision back to the capture data that supported it.

That record does not just streamline daily project decisions. It holds up months or years later, when the questions get  harder and the stakes get higher.
